Immediate access to short-term shelter for individuals and families facing a housing emergency. We work same-day to find safe placement through our partner network across HRM.
Furnished units in four Dartmouth and Halifax properties, available for stays of 3–12 months. Case management support included. Priority for those exiting emergency shelters or hospitalization.
One-time or bridge funding to prevent an eviction or utility disconnection. Funds are paid directly to the landlord or utility company. Eligibility assessed within 48 hours.
One-on-one support navigating Nova Scotia Housing, private rental searches, applications, references, and landlord negotiations. We've helped 180+ households find stable housing this way.
We keep the process simple and move quickly, because housing crises don't wait for paperwork.

A 30-minute conversation with a housing worker to understand your situation. No judgment.
Same-day or next-day access to emergency placement, rent bank, or navigation support.
Ongoing check-ins for 12 months to make sure your housing is secure and sustainable.
