Thanksgiving food drive is on: donate a bag of groceries or volunteer a shift

What your gift buys

$25
A week of fresh produce for one household: apples, carrots, and whatever is in season from our farm partners.
$50
One full hamper for a family of four, with produce, protein, dairy, bread, and pantry staples for the week.
$100
Two hampers.
$250
Five hampers, or most of one Mobile Pantry stop on the Thursday route.

Monthly gifts let us plan the year

A monthly gift lets us plan staffing and stock the truck without waiting on each week's fundraising. $25 a month is a week of fresh produce for one household, every month.

Monthly gifts also cost less to process, so more of each dollar reaches families, and they keep hampers going in March and July when giving slows down.

Other ways to give

Food, a food drive, a corporate partnership, or a gift in your will all help.

Donate food
Drop off non-perishable food during hamper hours, Tuesdays and Thursdays 10 am to 6 pm, at Burnaby, Surrey, or Richmond. Most needed right now: canned fish and meat, peanut butter, dried lentils and beans, canned tomatoes, whole grain pasta and rice, baby formula, cooking oil, and low-sodium soup. To arrange a larger drop-off, email hello@nourishbc.ca
Host a food drive
Workplaces, schools, and sports teams run drives for us all year. We send you a most-needed list and pick up what you collect. Email hello@nourishbc.ca
Corporate and in-kind support
Grocers and distributors send us surplus food every week. Companies also sponsor programs, lend warehouse or truck space, and match staff gifts. Email hello@nourishbc.ca
Planned giving
A gift in your will, or a gift of securities, can be arranged in one conversation. Email donate@nourishbc.ca
