Annual Signature Event
Every year, Lantern Arts opens its doors for a celebratory evening of community-made art, live music, food, and fundraising. This year's showcase features over 80 works by program participants from all six programs — and raises vital operating funds for the year ahead.

March 2025
A full-day open house celebrating women and gender-diverse artists in the Lantern community. Over 120 attendees; artwork displayed by 34 participants.
February 2025
An overnight printmaking event that produced 200+ prints by 18 artists. Prints were sold at cost to support materials fund.
February 2025
14 young artists from Cohort 7 exhibited personal works exploring identity, belonging, and cultural heritage. Exhibition at Latitude 53 Gallery.
January 2025
Free drop-in to kick off 2025. Over 60 participants dropped in throughout the day. Snacks, music, and good company.
December 2024
Annual community gathering with a lantern-making workshop, potluck, and outdoor lantern walk through McCauley. 200+ attendees.
November 2024
Unveiling of the 44th Lantern mural, co-designed with Riverdale residents and painted over five weekends. Ceremony attended by 150+ community members.
